Our mission is to use applied archaeology techniques in support of humanitarian efforts and heritage preservation.

Alta Heritage Foundation (AHF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization driven by a simple yet profound mission: to apply the science of archaeology in service to humanity and the preservation of heritage.  We engage volunteers to carry out this work and currently support two main lines of service.
